Mandalas and yantras, doors to the spiritual dimension

Can Mandalas and Yantras lead to high spiritual levels?

The answer is positive. Mandalas and yantras are symbolic, spiritual and ritual representations of the macrocosm and the microcosm, and are used in Buddhism and Hinduism. The Sanskrit word yantra comes from the prefix yan (= conceive, create) by the mental process. The Yantras are devices, artifices, mechanisms or instruments to represent with geometry the levels and energies of the universe (macrocosmos, which is personalized through a chosen god or divinity) and the human body (the microcosm).

The elaboration or creation of a mandala or yantra, in addition to intrinsic value and support for meditation, has real therapeutic power for the pleasure of seeing the finished drawing. In addition to enjoying artistic activity, imagination and creativity are developed and activated; It is best when sharing time with friends or relatives.
